Stop Corruption, Stop Destruction

Corruption

Corruption is just a 10 letter word but is destroying a 3.288 million square kilometer country- India. Corrupt practices are increasing in India, day by day. In 2015, India was ranked 85th out of 175 countries in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index. Corruption is increased not only by the people who take bribe, but also by the people who with no concern give bribe. The problem is that, the rich people are not interested in stopping it and don't feel a need to; the middle class are the ones who suffer but don't have the time and power to stop it. the poor are not so educated to interfere in any of these. Result- corruption continues to flourish. some people have also raised voice against it but some failed due to lack of support, some due to lack of confidence and some were said that we will take a strict action against it but nothing much happened.
The people are having a lot of hope with the new elected government and are praying for their hpoes to come true.

Ways to Reduce Corruption

  • Stop taking bribe.
  • Stop giving bribe.
  • Education.
  • Raise voice against corruption.
  • Break your silence.
  • Be a responsible Indian.
  • Support the ones who raise voice against it.
  • Take proper action.
  • Be responsible.
  • Make the people aware.

The event is facing a lot of criticism but voices in support are also there. The prime minister is very much concerned about this typical issue and wants the support of people and the trust of different companies who manufacture their machine parts from China. Many economical groups have stated that they would invest in this project and start companies in India. The result is still pending but everything needs time. Let us hope of a good launch and success of this project.

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan

Introduction

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan  or the education for all is a mission started by the government of India in 2000-2001 to promote education between the ages of 6 to 14. Although early education is also important for a child's mental and physical growth and is now given equal importance. Education for all, also known as "Each one Teach one", has spread a lot of awareness among people for good education, especially women education and education for backward castes and tribes.
The UNESCO has also been interested towards this topic. It has claimed "Education for all" a global movement and Sarva shiksha abhiyan comes under this movement. EFA (Education for all) aims to meet the learning needs of all children, youth and adults by 2015.

Why education is important?

Education is a key element to bridge the gaps caused by gender, caste discrimination, financial status, minority, etc. Education gives the people the understanding to question wrong things and support right things. They get a true sense of right and wrong and get out from superstitions and myths. Education is important to let others know of our true potential and capabilities. Moreover, it gives us the strength and courage to fight for your rights, others right and helps raise voice against exploitation.

Our Contribution

We can help contribute in this movement by giving every single child his or her right of good education, from a right age, till a right age. Many safeguarding trusts are struggling to increase the literacy rate of India. anyone can associate with these. Else, if you are capable enough, you can take over the education or school fee of any child willing to study. Otherwise, the ones who are pleading can teach some children.
You can also give old books, pens, empty notebooks, etc. to the children of slum areas. We can help them in any way. Their are many ways to help if we will to. Let make this movement a success and take a huge step towards improving India.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Introduction

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or Clean India Mission is an active movement initiated by the prime minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi. This abhiyan was started on Gandhi Jayanti, that is on October 2, 2014 as it was a dream of Mahatma Gandhi to see India clean.
In respect of this, the prime minister himself cleaned the roads with a broom and hisphoto became viral on social networking sites as this was the first of its kind when the prime minister of a country is cleaning the roads to motivate people. Many political personalities followed this. Our prime minister also selected some celebrities to propagate this event including Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra , Kapil Sharma, Katrina Kaif, etc.

Initiatives

Under this mission, a proposal  of building toilets in rural areas for proper defecation was approved. In urban areas too, proper waste management is made sure causing no inconvenience to the people. The people are just requested to keep their garbage outside their homes and give it to respective garbage collectors who will come to their home every morning. They are requested not to throw garbage on roadside and outside their houses.

Many events and competitions are held to spread awareness of this very important topic of cleanliness. The mission is being made more interesting by the support of celebs and sport icons. A Swachh Bharat Run was also organized in respect to this on 2nd October, 2014 from Rashtrapati Bhavan, which was participated by officers and their family members. Many apps are also launched in support of this, promoting and giving information of this event. A short film is also made to spread awareness of this cleanliness drive.

Effects and Result

The success of this event is a need of India at present as we all want a country free from litter and garbage all around. the tourists also get attracted towards clean places. Cleanliness will deplete the level of epidemics and diseases, resulting in a healthy growth of our country. We need to make this mission a great success by contributing our small efforts towards it. We all dream of a clean and green place to live, free from diseases. Moreover, if this project becomes a success, we will get the power and will to start new effective programs to improve India.
